Mortal Kombat 1 will release September 19 for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Johnny Cage is set to receive a Jean-Claude Van Damme premium skin in the pack as well. The listing also lists five new Kameo Fighters-a special roster of fighters which can only assist a player in battle-that will also be included in Kombat Pack 1, with Tremor, Johnny Cage, Khameleon, Mavado, and Ferra making up that list. Kombat Pack 2 added another four: Alien, Bo’ Rai Cho and Triborg. Kombat Pack 1 launched last year and added four characters: Jason Voorhees, Tanya, Predator and Tremor. Players can also purchase the characters a-la-carte for 5 each. DC Comics' Peacemaker and The Boys' Homelander have been rumored for some time, but this is the first instance of Invincible's Omni Man being mentioned for the game. Those who did buy Kombat Pack 1 can get Kombat Pack 2 for 20. Three of these characters-Quan Chi, Ermac, and Takeda-are known characters in the Mortal Kombat Universe, but the other three names are major guest inclusions. A developer livestream with Ed Boon and Tyler Lansdown of NetherRealm is scheduled for May 19 at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET. Neither NetherRealm Studios nor Warner Bros. Players who own the Mortal Kombat 11 Kombat Pack 1 or the Premium Edition of the game, which includes the Kombat Pack 1, gain access to download several characters, skins, and gear.
